Cooking instructions
- 1 cup short grain brown rice
- 2 cups water or broth
- 1 tbsp. butter (optional)
- salt to taste
Put all ingredients in a pot with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 50 minutes. Do not remove lid. Remove from heat and allow to stand in covered pot for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
